James "Sug" Douglas, 85, of Browder, died Sunday, August 24, 2014, at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mr. Douglas was born September 12, 1928, in Muhlenberg County. He was truck driver at B & R Lumber Co. in Morgantown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Howard Douglas; brother Aubrey Jewell Douglas; and daughter Barbara Ann Jelley.

Survivors include his sons, Tony (Cindy) Douglas of Browder and Wilbur (Cindy) Douglas of Greenville; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; brother Paul Howard (Linda) Douglas of Browder; and sisters Etta Merriel (Boyd) Morphew, Claudia May (Hallie) Anderson, and Aline (Keith) Aldridge.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at 2:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike Foster officiating. Burial in Forest Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
