James Russell Hunt died peacefully at his home in Seminole, Florida on August 5th, 2022. Born in Bowling Green, Kentucky on February 29th, 1964 to Shirley Ann Renfrow Hunt and Larry Hayse Hunt both deceased. He was always proud of the fact that he was a leap year baby. In his early years, Russell resided in Morgantown, Kentucky later moving to Tell City, Indiana where he graduated in 1982  from Tell City High School.  He is survived by his sons Joshua, James, and Pierson Hunt, former wife Amy Cowart, siblings Lisa Wanhainen, Eric Hunt, Allison Anderson, Stuart Hunt, and Stephen Hunt, and stepmother Linda Hunt.  Russell loved and was very proud of his three boys. He enjoyed collecting antiques, working on old cars, long beach walks, and reminiscing with old friends. He recently accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. Russell had a kind soul and was a friend to many. He will be missed. A celebration and service will be held at the United Methodist Church in Morgantown, Kentucky on  Saturday, August 27, 2022 with visitation at 11:00, service at noon. The family would like to thank our cousin Jeanie Locke, and our Morgantown Hunt family for their loving assistance in helping with the memorial service.
