James "Ronnie" Parrish

James "Ronnie" Parrish, 70 of Morgantown, KY went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, January 15, 2021, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY due to a battle with Covid-19. Ronnie was born on Thursday May 4, 1950 to the union of the late James Herbert and Mary Lou Johnson Parrish. He was a member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church and Founder and Co-owner of Parrish Electric. Ronnie was a master electrician and loved to hunt and fish. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one granddaughter Emily Taylor Parrish; one sister Mary Ruth Parrish; one brother Freddie Parrish and brother in law David Corbin. 

James "Ronnie" Parrish is survived by his wife of 50 years Barbara Bryant Parrish of Morgantown, KY; two sons James Darren Parrish (Charity) of Smiths Grove, KY and Daniel Parrish (Courtney) of Morgantown, KY; two daughters Valerie Parrish of Bowling Green, KY and Victoria Jaggers (Nathan) of Shelbyville, TN; seven grandchildren Presley, K'Leigh, Karter, Juli'Anna, Natalie, James Clay and Brenner; one sister Karen Corbin of Russellville, KY; three brothers Jim Phelps (Marge) of Charleston, IL, Ray Parrish (JoAnn) of Roundhill, KY and John David Parrish (Alisa) of Roundhill, KY; several nieces and nephews; his fur baby Skippy Girl; his friends and his work family at WRECC. 

Graveside services will be held at the Renfrow Family Cemetery on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 1:30 pm with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will be held in the Renfrow Family Cemetery. A walk through visitation will be held on Thursday January 21, 2021 from 10:00am - 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. The Parrish Family request mask to be worn with minimum contact made. Memorial contributions may be made to the Renfrow Family Cemetery c/o Nita Woods 9309 Morgantown Road Roundhill, KY 42275.
