James Robert "Bob" Maxfield

James Robert "Bob" Maxfield, 78, of Bowling Green, Ky., formerly of Rochester, Ky., passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Morgantown Care and Rehab. Bob was born November 7, 1936 in Muhlenberg County, Ky. to the late James Riley and Etta Estheline Cottrell Maxfield. He was a member of Rochester Missionary Baptist Church and was a former truck driver and coal miner. He was a simple man who worked hard and loved his family. Other than his parents, Bob is preceded in death by two daughters, Dottie and Janice Lynn Maxfield and three Brothers, Randall H. Maxfield, Don Maxfield and Roger Maxfield.
Bob Maxfield is survived by his wife of 45 years, Imogene Ferguson Maxfield, of Bowling Green, Ky., one son, Dave Maxfield and wife Courtney, of Rochester, Ky., two daughters, Sheila Stephens and husband Jeremy, of Bowling Green, Ky., and Kimberly Maxfield, of Bowling Green, Ky., one brother, Richard Maxfield, of Morgantown, Ky.,two granddaughters, five grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Roger Heltsley officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and Tuesday from 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to ST.
