Mr. Gabbard was one of the few veterans to serve in three major campaigns -- WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He has definitely been a friend to education and a great supporter of our Veterans Day programs. Thinking of the family at a time of great loss, but thankful for Mr. Gabbard's tremendous impact!
With deepest sympathy in your loss.
I knew Mr. Gabbard well. His service to his country was surpasssed only by his service to the Lord. Men of his caliber are not born every day and I know he will be greatly missed. My prayers to his family at this time, although I know they are comforted with the knowledge that he has now received his reward in Heaven with God.
so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Your family are in my prayers.
