James Loyd "Butch" Brown

James Loyd "Butch" Brown, 71, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday April 7, 2018 in Edmonson County at Blue Holler ATV Park. Butch was born August 5, 1946 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Deward and Mildred Wester Brown.  He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, member of New Midway Missionary Baptist Church, a 1964 Graduate of Portage High School in Portage, Indiana and a retired truck driver. He was preceeded in death by one son Jamie R. "JR" Brown.

James Loyd "Butch" Brown is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Patricia A. "Pennie" Harlow Brown of Morgantown, KY.; one daughter Tanda Leann Jones and husband Billy of Rochester, KY; one son Eric Brown and wife Amanda of Wilson, NC; two sisters Kathryn Davis of Quality, KY and Betty J. June and husband Darrell of Morgantown, KY; one grandson Austin James Dwyer of Drakesboro, KY; two granddaughters Carley RaeAnn Jones of Rochester, KY and Tanda Danielle Brown of Greenville, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday April 13, 2018 at 3:00pm with Bro. Gary Oberhausen officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery where military rights will be presented by AM Vets Post #117. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 12, 2018 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Friday 8:00am until funeral time at 3:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
