James Floyd Johnson, 76, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Provo, Ky. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on January 13, 1941 to the late James and Zona Kessinger Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Flatwood Church of Christ. He was a farmer and enjoyed watching T.V. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Waitress Embry, Cletus , Recil and Esley Johnson and one sister Ethelene (Johnson) Cardwell.

Mr. Johnson is survived one brother Obra Johnson of Morgantown; two sisters Lottie Johnson of Morgantown; Magdalene Johnson Bell of Collonsville, Al., Many nieces and nephews

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 11:00 am with Bro. Chester Phelps officiating.

Burial will follow in the Chapel Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 5-8pm and Thursday 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
