James Elbert Baker, 68 of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Mr. Baker was born February 6, 1945 in Butler County, to the late Dempsey and Lena Lee Baker. He was a Army Veteran and a Salesman. He was preceded in death by parents and his brothers Dale, Glen, Dempsey Lee and David Baker.

James is survived by his son: James Paul McKinney of Morgantown; one grandson: J.R. McKinney of Morgantown; four sisters Alice West and husband Ray of Morgantown, Pat Stanton and husband Conray of Leitchfield, Brenda Johnson and husband Rayburn of Morgantown, Ovie House and husband Doug of Morgantown; two brothers Charles Baker of Corona, California and Don Baker and wife Joan of Morgantown.

Graveside Service will be held at Sandy Creek Cemetery, Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Harold West officiating . Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery, Morgantown, Ky. Under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
