James Edward Goodall

James Edward Goodall, 81 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday April 23, 2020 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Ed was born March 26, 1939 in Butler County, KY to the late James Terrell and Corrine McKinney Goodall and husband of the late Winifred Jean Smith Goodall. He was a member of Woodbury Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Holley Carburetor and Butler County School System. During his working years at Holley, Ed was on the Holley Carburetors bowling league. Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and friends and especially his grandsons and great grandsons. Other than his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by one brother Ercil Wayne Goodall and one infant brother Daniel Goodall.

James Edward Goodall is survived by one daughter Terry Allen (Mike) of Morgantown, KY; two grandsons, Travis Allen (Melissa) of Morgantown, KY and Jake Allen (Regina) of Morgantown, KY; two great grandsons Levi and Carson Allen of Morgantown, KY; three sisters Peggy Smith (Chester), Carrie Annis and Brenda Henderson (Stevie) all of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.

For the health and safety of the families we serve we are staying in compliance by the directives set forth by the Governor of Kentucky and CDC recommendations. The Goodall family has requested that all visitation and funeral services be private at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Allen officiating, with a private burial at the Cool Springs Cemetery.
