James Earl Webster

James Earl Webster age 72 of Beaver Dam, KY passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at his residence. James was born on Friday, March 2, 1951 in Butler County, KY to the late Ambrose Webster and Lucy Engler Berg. He proudly served in the United States Navy as a young man from 1971-1974 and he retired from IGA after 37+ years. Throughout his life he became an entrepreneur, a pilot, a golfer, a farmer, a bee charmer, a rhythm guitar player, a songwriter, and a darn good singer. And aside from all that, he was a wonderful human being. He was certainly a kind and gentle soul, to all walks of life. 

James is survived by his wife of 47 years Regina; son Jeff Webster (Krista); daughter Donna Kay (Erin); three grandchildren Briley, Skyler and Kyra; two sisters Kathy Lux (Tom) and Ann Webster; several nieces and nephews and his animals Cupcake and Rufus (dogs), and Simba, S’mores, Nala and Tiger Lily (cats). 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 3:00pm. Burial will be in the Webster Cemetery where military rights will be presented by the Ohio County AM VETS. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 11:00am until funeral time at 3:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Webster Cemetery c/o First Southern National Bank 401 N. Main Street Greenville, KY 42345.
