James E. Embery, 76 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at his home. Visitation followed by a brief service will be from 4:00pm - 7:30pm Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Jones Funeral Chapel in Morgantown, Ky. He was born December 24, 1938 in Bloomington, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 32 years Cathie McCauley Embery, his parents Robert and Estella Embry and three brothers Troy, Thurman and Harold.
He is survived by his sister Louise Wright, five children, twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
James and Cathie were both former employees of Beer Nuts/Shirk Products Inc. for 24 years before moving to Morgantown to enjoy the quiet life 32 years ago. He was a loving husband, father and friend and will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
