James “Bubby” Kiper

James “Bubby” Kiper, 68, of Louisville, passed away January 10, 2016 at his daughter’s home in Louisville. 

He was born on April 18, 1947 in Grayson County, the son of the late James Lucian and Elsie (Dennis) Kiper. He was a member of the Lynn Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Louisville. James was employed for over 20 years at the Louisville Varnish Company as a Lab Tech.  

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Cox (Derrick) of Louisville; two sons James Lee Kiper (Dean) of Caneyville and Charles L. Kiper (Christina) of Louisville; two sisters, Paula Kindle of Louisville and Vickie Tarrance of Morgantown. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be (Wednesday) January 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Burial will be in the Layman Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Tuesday after 1:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
