Jackie L. Burnette, age 70, of Morgantown KY, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at her residence in Morgantown under the care of her family and Hospice of Southern KY. She was born on January 28, 1949 in Butler County, KY to the late Vernon Ray and Golda Embry Calloway. Jackie attended Olaten Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Perdue in Cromwell KY. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.

Jackie L. Burnette is survived by her two children - Jenice Brown of Central City KY and Christopher Burnette of Ohio County, KY; one brother = Kirby Calloway and wife Jenny of Morgantown, KY; one sister - Jewel Barron of Morgantown KY; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. with Bro. Jimmy Dockery officiating.  Private burial will be held in Fordsville, KY.  Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral time at 4:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Childrens' Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN., 37105.
