Jackie Dale Jessup  75 of Greenville, KY. died Thursday afternoon October 20, 2011 at 4:56 p.m. in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital emergency room in Greenville.  Jackie was born in Earlington, Ky. the son of James Jessup and Virginia Ford Jessup.  He was a farmer and a Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a member of  Vernal Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Depoy, Ky. and Jackie was a Minister of Music at 7 churches in 5 counties for 35 years. He served churches in Butler, Logan, Muhlenberg, McLean, and Christian County.  Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, brothers LeRoy Jessup, Norman Jessup, Bruce Jessup, and sister Wanda Sue Jessup Anderson.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday morning October 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, Ky.  by Rev. Jerry Williams and Rev. Jerry Eades.  Burial with Military Honors to follow in Vernal Grove Cemetery Depoy, Ky.

Jackie is survived by his wife of 28 years Deborah Kay Franklin Jessup of Morgantown, KY; son John Allen (Judy) Jessup of Greenville, KY; daughter Stacia Young of Santa Barbara, CA.; daughter Jennifer Ann Jonathon of Lexington, KY; son Eric L. (Marie) Jessup of Freidburg, Germany; son Quintin (Christina) Jessup of Lebanon, Missouri; son Jeff (Jamie) Chaney of Morgantown, KY; son Brant Andrew Jessup of Live Oak, Fl.; Son Adam Corey Jessup of New York, New York; 11 grandchildren; sister Joyce Ann Baldree of Los Angeles, CA; sister Jeanetta Maddux of Owensboro, KY; brother T.K. (Beverly) Jessup of Greenville, KY; brother Robert Jessup of Morgantown, KY; brother David (Barbara) Jessup of Greenville, KY; brother Gerald (Sun Yung) Jessup of Greenville, KY; brother Malcom (Laura) Jessup of Spencer, TN.
Sister, Coletta (Mitch) Kincaid of Greenville, KY.
