Isaac R. “Ike” Snodgrass

Isaac R. “Ike” Snodgrass, 64 of Woodburn, died Monday, January 6, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green after a brief battle with Leukemia.  He is the son of the late Theodore R. Snodgrass, and Dimple Snodgrass Neighbors.
Isaac was a very loving and protecting husband and father. He was an adamant provider and true friend to many. Isaac’s strongest quality was his honesty. His word and handshake was true and reliable. He was a carpenter perfectionist for 40 years along with being a “jack of all trades. He was known for his helping hands to anyone in need, if be friend, family, or stranger, and serving his entire neighborhood as their handyman. He enjoyed camping and taking trips in his RV. Made many friends talking on CB radio and always enjoyed “Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smack Down”. He will be missed more than words ever could express.
Survivors include a wife of 43 years; Shirley Snodgrass, Woodburn, five children; Mauricia “Punkin” Snodgrass, Isaac E. Snodgrass, and Justin W. Snodgrass, wife Brandi all of Bowling Green, Justin I. Snodgrass, and Xander M. Snodgrass, both of Woodburn. Brothers and sisters include; Margaret Sandborn, husband Scott, Isaiah Snodgrass, wife Charlene, Oral Kessinger, wife Shirley Mae, all of Bowling Green, Eugene Cox of Indiana , Lindy Snodgrass, Louisville, KY, Helen Martin, Madisonville, KY, and Louise Bullington, husband Bob, Indiana.  Grandchildren; Casey A. Snodgrass, Mitch “Cody” Snodgrass, Isaac Bradley Snodgrass, Allison Snodgrass, and many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by; four brothers; Robert Snodgrass, Connie Snodgrass, Ronnie Kessinger, Otis Snodgrass, and one sister; Marie Phelps. 
Visitation 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2014 at the funeral home with burial is at Bowling Green Gardens.  Arrangements have been entrusted to J. C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapels & Crematorium.
