Iris Brooks Truelove, age 69 of Morgantown, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at her residence. She was born on Sunday, June 15, 1952 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Wilbur Guy and Helen Rubel Barkley Brooks.  Iris attended Crossland Community Church and was an employee of Houchens Industries for several years. She loved reading and spending time with friends and family, especially her granddaughters. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years Michael "Mike" Truelove; two brothers Wilbur Guy Brooks Jr. and Dorris Howard "Billy" Brooks; one sister Ione B. McKinney and father in law Charles Truelove.

Iris Truelove is survived by her daughter Courtney Meredith of Morgantown, KY; two granddaughters Everleigh and Henleigh Meredith of Morgantown, KY; one brother Robert Earl Brooks of Bowling Green, KY; sister in law Gladys Brooks; brother in law David Alan McKinney; mother in law Billie Jean Lee Truelove all of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, June 10, 2022 at 4:00pm with Bro. Gregg Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 1:00 pm until funeral time at 4:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
