Imogene Myrl Burden, 81 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at  Morgantown Care and Rehab in Morgantown, Ky. Myrl was born March 6, 1932, in Butler County  to the late Lonnie and Stella Cardwell Brooks and wife of the late Paul Burden. She was a member of Leonard Oak Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one grandson Kevin Burden and one great granddaughter Syerra Burden.
Imogene Myrl Burden is survived by one daughter, Paulette Kelley and husband Mike of Morgantown, Ky.; 4 sons, Roger Burden, Jimmy Burden, Daniel Burden and wife Linda, and Darrell R. Burden and wife Cheryl of Morgantown, Ky.; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 step granddaughter; 3 step great grandchildren; one sister Evalina Burden and one brother James Brooks. Funeral services will be held at the Leonard Oak Baptist Church Friday, June 21, 2013 at 11:00am. Burial will be in the Noah Johnson Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013, from 5:00pm - 9:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Friday from 9:30 am until funeral time at 11:00am at the Leonard Oak Baptist Church.
