Ida Nell Flener, 67 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Ida was born January 11, 1946 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Clifton and Erelene Amos Martin. She was a member of Temple View General Baptist Church and retired LPN Nurse at the Fordsville Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Sharon and Norma Martin and ex- husband Shirley Duane Flener.
Ida Nell Flener is survived by son Dwaine Flener (Angie) of Morgantown, Ky.; daughter Sandra Cockrell of Morgantown, Ky.; son James Flener (Bonita) of Morgantown, Ky.; 1 brother Glendel Martin (Barbara) of Indianapolis, Indiana; 1 sister Valeria Martin of Cromwell, Ky.;10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at 1:00pm with Bro. Frankie Skipworth and Bro. James Flener officiating. Burial will be in the Fanny Rone Cemetery Visitation will be Tuesday September 3, 2013 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
