Ida Earlean Brooks, 88, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away June 22, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Earlean was born January 21, 1930 in Brooklyn, Kentucky to the late Doctor Allison "Dock" and Martha Ann Geary Brooks and wife of the late Randall J. Brooks who passed away April 26, 2004. She was a long time member of Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Chapel Union Ladies Sunshine Club.Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by 6 brothers Lacy Brooks, Cherry Brooks, William A. "Buster" Brooks, Shirley G. "Pete" Brooks, Chalmer Shelton "Frog" Brooks and Charles C. Brooks; 2 sisters Vida C. Moore and Alma Ann West and 1 half sister Pansy Embry.

Earlean married Randall J. Brooks July 8, 1950 and was married 56 years and to this union was born 3 children Bruce Brooks and wife Rita, Norma Gayle Brooks and husband Roger and Bryan Brooks; two grandsons Jason and his wife Dr. Lynnette Brooks of Glasgow KY and Russell and his wife Hon. Heather Brooks of Bowling Green, KY. Mrs. Brooks was a proud great grandma of 3 great grandchildren Lydia Reganne, Jenna Claire and Elias Anderson Brooks all of Glasgow, KY and she leave behind a host of friends, family, neighbors and nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at Jones Funeral Chapel on Monday June 25, 2018 at 3:00pm with Bro. Greg Fields officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday June 24, 2018 from 5:30pm - 8:00pm and Monday 8:00 am until funeral time at 3:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
