Huston Pendley Lee

Huston Pendley Lee, 91, of Avon, Indiana passed away on November 1, 2016 at Countryside Meadows Senior Care Center in Avon, Indiana.  Huston suffered from advanced dementia and multiple heart and lung issues.  He was born on June 18, 1925 in Dunbar, KY, to Harvey Lee and Mary Kate (Pendley) Lee.  He later met and married Frances Juanita (Rone) Lee.
Huston served in the U.S. Army as a medic during the Korean War before being honorably discharged.  After the service he moved to Indianapolis and was employed at Chrysler for 31 years.  He lived in New Palestine, Indiana until his retirement in 1986 when he returned to his beloved Butler County, Kentucky.  He moved to Avon, Indiana in 1996 to be closer to his children during his wife’s battle with breast cancer. Upon his wife’s death, he lived with his daughter and son-in-law in Avon, Indiana until 2015.
Huston is survived by his children; son, Larry (Theresa) Lee; daughter, Yvonne (John) Lindeman; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as two sisters; Novella (Deyoide) Evans and Hazel McKinney who reside in Morgantown, Kentucky.
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Harry Lee; brother, Charles Lee; sister, Beulah Myrl Moffatt; and his infant sister, Bonnie Rose Lee.
Mr. Lee was buried at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine, Indiana on November 5.
