Hugh C. Newton, age 82 of Logansport, KY passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Hugh was born on Sunday, October 20, 1940 in Warren County, KY to the union of the late Floyd Carson and Margie Pauline Hines Newton. He was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church and a farmer. Hugh loved working on his farm, his cattle and hunting.

Hugh C. Newton is survived by his wife of 59 1/2 years Wilma Newton of Logansport, KY and one son Lanny Newton of Cave City, KY.

Funeral service will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 11:00am with Bro. Geard Geary officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery where Lanny Newton, Chris Newton, Michael Snodgrass, Johnny Childress, Caleb Smithson and Stan Farris will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Tuesday 8:00am until funeral time at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
