Hershel Henry Havens, 27, passed away, Friday, March 19, 2021.

Hershel was born May 12, 1993, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Barry S. Havens & Ruth (Carman) Rusher. He was a former apprentice carpenter for the Carpenter’s Union, an avid U of L fan, loved spending time at Rough River, jet skiing, hunting, spending time on the farm in Morgantown, Ky 4-wheeling, and shooting guns. He was a graduate of Butler County High School where he was a cheerleader.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his paternal & maternal grandfathers.

Survivors include his two sons, Bentlee & Casen; brother, David Eggers; grandmothers, Carol Jean Havens & Wanda Ball; several aunts, uncles & cousins.

Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 4pm-8pm at JB Ratterman & Sons Funerals & Family Cremation Care, 2114 W. Market Street. A memorial graveside service will be held in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Morgantown, Kentucky at 11:00am CST with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating.
