Herrel “Dobin” Deweese, 81 of Bloomington Indiana passed away Friday, August 26, 2016, at the Golden Living Center.  Herrel was born August 17, 1935, in Aberdeen, Kentucky, son of the late Troy and Velcie (Cannon) Deweese. He was a Sheet Metal Worker for the Local #20 in Indianapolis. Herrel was a loving husband and father who enjoyed singing and playing music, especially with his son.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Charles and Raymond Deweese.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Janice Mardell (McKinney) Deweese, one son Mark Deweese both of Bloomington, one brother Richard Deweese of Spencer, two nieces, Phyllis Deweese and Kim Deweese and one nephew Dennis Deweese.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 29, 2016, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington and 4:00 pm- 8:00 pm Tuesday at the Jones Funeral Chapel in Morgantown, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Brian Neighbors officiating.

Burial will be in the Sandy Creek Cemetery.
