Hayward "Festus" House, 67, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on March 5, 1951 to the late William Luther and Gustie Bratcher House. He was a carpenter, tree trimmer and worked at Kentucky Trailer in Louisville. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jay House and Dewayne “Little Man” House; sister Isabell Phelps.

Hayward is survived by sisters Elizabeth Vincent of Roundhill and Christine Garrett (Bill) of Louisville; brother Shelton House of Morgantown; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, January 14 at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Lacefield officiating. Burial will follow in the Satterfield Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, January 14 from 9am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
