Harold Douglas Givens, 76, of Quality, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Medical Center. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on June 20, 1939 to the late June and Letha Cartwright Givens. He was a member of the Quality Missionary Baptist Church and of the Army National Guard having served during the Berlin Crisis. He was a diesel mechanic, farmer and retired from TVA. He also enjoyed landscaping. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, William Givens and sister, Glenda Bowers.

Mr. Givens is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sibyl Givens; 3 children, Samuel Douglas Givens and wife Carol, Leesia Givens and Harold Kent Givens and fiance Roni Lashelle Fowler all of Quality; 3 grandchildren, Samantha Childress and husband Charles, Jessica Givens, Cody Givens and wife Cholla; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 2 pm with Bro. Gary Oberhausen officiating.

Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5-8 pm and Monday 8 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
