Golda House

Golda Cannon House, 92  of Morgantown, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  Ms. House was born June 8, 1920, in Butler County to the late Vernie Cannon and Emma Johnson Cannon.  She was the wife of the late L.D. House.  Golda worked at the Flener Hotel and was a homemaker.   Golda was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by sons, George Henry Milam, Clarance Edward Milam and Howard Wayne Milam.  Grandsons; Vernon Milam, Jr. and Matthew Beasley. Granddaughter Patricia Milam. Step- children Dannie and James House. Step Grandson Cody Nash.  Golda was also preceded in death by sisters; Anthalene Meade Cannon and Ilene Green Cannon. Brother, Harvey Cannon. 

Golda is survived by son Vernon Milam and wife Kathleen of Morgantown and daughter Richie Burnett of Morgantown.  Grandchildren: Mike Milam and wife Penny of Morgantown, Eric Milam and wife Samantha of Morgantown, Josh Milam and wife Anna of Morgantown.  Sandra Kaye Daugherty and husband Karlon of Baizetown.  Debra M. Beasley of husband Gary of Morgantown.  Great Grandchildren: Amanda Michelle McNelly and husband Ryann of Madisonville.  Rosaline Milam of Morgantown, Sammy Milam of Morgantown, Matthew Milam of Morgantown, Daniel, Christian and Jessica Daugherty of Baizetown.  Great Great Grandchildren; Gabrielle K. McNelly, Chloe J. McNelly of Madisonville, Hoss Holley of Central City.  One Step Son, David Lee House, Three Step Daughters: Marzola Ann Nash and husband Phillip of Morgantown.  Mae Lou Clymer and husband Carl, Mary Ruth King and husband Paul.  Step Grandchildren Nathan and Bobby House of Morgantown, Sarah Shepard and Lisa Miller, Jimmy Cardwell, Kelly Nash, Tiffany Dockery, Rachael Tuck, Mary Fields.  One Great Great Grandchild and brother Ed Cannon of Morgantown.

Funeral Service will be held  at Smith Funeral Home, Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at  2:00 p.m.  with Bro. R.V. Gibbs  officiating . Burial will follow in the House Family Cemetery, Morgantown, Ky.  Visitation will be Monday, July 9 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown and Tuesday 8am until 2:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
