Glydis Talmie Johnson age 88 of Jetson Ky., passed away Saturday the 13th day of January 2024 at his residence. Talmie was born on Sunday, the 30th day of September 1934 in Jetson, KY to the union of the late William Audley and Kelly Rena Woosley Johnson. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed his dogs, chickens, horses, hunting, and gardening. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by 3 children Charlie, Stephen, and Retha Johnson 1 granddaughter Beth Flener, 1 grandson Joshua Johnson, 3 brothers Leslie, J.M., and Billy Johnson, 1 sister Lucille Deweese.

Glydis Talmie Johnson is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Veannia Mae Phelps Johnson, 4 sons; Darrell Johnson and wife Michelle, Jeff Johnson, James Johnson, and John Johnson, 4 daughters; Brenda Carwile, Betty Pucket and husband Ramond, Kathy Renfrow and Kay Samples, 16 grandchildren, 24 grandchildren and 1 brother, Loyd Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, the 24th day of January, 2024 at 12:00pm at Temple View General Baptist Church with Bro. David Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Johnson Family Cemetery where Jeff Johnson, John Johnson, James Johnson, Dallas Renfrow, Charles Carwile, Adam Johnson, Charlie Samples, Jason Johnson, Jack Johnson, And James Elmore will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Wednesday, the 24th day of January, 2024 from 9:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at Temple View General Baptist Church.
