Glenna Sue Givens, age 71, of Morgantown passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky with her family by her side.She was born Saturday, August 4, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Lonnie and Edna Brown.She retired from The Butler County Board of Education as a secretary. She had a passion forreading and spending time in a good book. In addition, she loved her family dearly as she was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend that will be missed by all who knew her. 

Her memories will be cherished by her husband of nearly 50 years, James Givens ofMorgantown; her son, Nathan Givens of Morgantown; her sister, Shirley Baize (Weldon); herbrother, Scott Brown (Angela); and a host of other family and friends also survive. 

The family honored Glenna’s request to be cremated. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, Bowling Green.
