Glenda Rife

Glenda Charlene Rife, 50, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Commonwealth Regional Speciality Hospital in Bowling Green.

Mrs. Rife was born April 12, 1962 in Warren County, KY to the late Mitchel and Magdalene Sweatt Sweatt. She was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church and 1980 Graduate of Butler County High School. Rife was preceded in death by one brother, Wendell Sweatt.

Glenda Charlene Rife is survived by her husband of 30 years, David Rife of Morgantown, KY.  They were married in 1981.  Other survivors are a son, Tyrone Rife of Morgantown; daughter Tiana Rife of Morgantown; 2 granddaughters -  Ma'Kaylah Marie Williams of Morgantown and Ari'Annan Lashae Rife of Morgantown; sister Janice Waller of Bowling Green; niece Trina Roof of Norfork, Virginia; and 6 aunts and a host of friends and family.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Harold Carter officiating. Burial will be New Zion Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday July 8, 2012 4:30 p.m.  to 8:00 p.m. and Monday 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. Online condolence may be made at www.jonesfuneralchapel.com

I was a caregiver for Charlene at Britthaven in BG.She loved to talk about her children...they were her most pleasure able things in the world. I will miss her much. God will care and Protect her now,as he will watch over her children and grandchildren. Wish I had known them as well as her.
