Tommy White, 72, of  Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Greenview Regional  Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born in Butler County, Kentucky on December 14, 1943 to the late Glen Thomas and Florence Ellis White.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, worked as a  self-employed truck driver, was a member of Woodbury Baptist Church and the V.F.W. Post 5837. Tommy enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his grandson Jacob.   He was preceded in death by his parents and son -  Glenn Thomas White III.

Mr. White is survived by his daughter Kelly Richmond and husband David of  Morgantown; one grandson Jacob Richmond and fiancé Mary Johnson of Morgantown; one granddaughter Ashlenn White Phelps and husband Kevin of Morgantown; three sisters Janice Burch of Bowling Green, Aleta Clark and husband Cotton, Kanita Waddle and husband Toby both of Morgantown; two brothers Wade and Willie White both of Morgantown. 

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, September 17th at 1 p.m. with Bro. Darryl Dockery officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-8 pm, Saturday 9 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
