Glen Dale Pendley

Glen Dale Pendley, 84, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on June 15, 1931. Glen enjoyed woodworking, talking on his CB radio and rabbit hunting.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Clido and Eva Bingham Pendley, one daughter, Glenda Denise Pendley and one sister Omie Kimmel. 

Mr. Pendley is survived by his wife of 53 years, Peggy Pendley of Morgantown; one son, Jimmy Pendley of Ashland, Ky.; four daughters, Tennie Cook of Cromwell, Eva Pendley and Neva Evans both of Morgantown, and Laurie Ann Woods of Bowling Green; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one on the way; two brothers, Odell Pendley of Missouri and Curtis Pendley of Dunbar; four sisters, Dorothy Caudill of Bowling Green, Lucy Pendley of Huntsville, Annie Willoughby of Beaver Dam and Minnie Johnson of Russellville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Sandy Creek Baptist Church on Monday,  Nov. 2, 2015 at 1 pm with Bro. Derek Cain officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery.   Visitation will be on Sunday, Nov. 1 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at Smith Funeral Home and Monday from 10 am until time of service at Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
