Glen Causey Price

Glen Causey Price, 78, of Bowling Green passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Greenview Regional Hospital.  Mr. Price was born September 26, 1935 in the Sharer community of Butler county to the late Marvin Price and Gladys Causey Price.  Mr. Price was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Laura Price and a brother-in-law, Stewart Givens.

Mr.  Price was a graduate of Butler County High School and lifelong member and Elder of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Sugar Grove, Ky.  Mr. Price's hobbies were his family and his farm.  He loved his cows, farm, tractors, his church, and his Lord.

Funeral Services for Mr. Price will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Ebenezer Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2014 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.

Mr. Price is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Brooks Price of Bowling Green, Ky., one son;  Michael G. Price., a daughter;  Lisa J. Ellis (Ricky), five grandchildren;  Richie Ellis (Alicia), Stacey Escue (Keith), Ty B. Price, Ashley Kane Dodson (Reuben), and  Lauren Kane, six great-grandchildren; Jaxson Escue, Gracie Escue, Layla Escue, Eli Ellis, Myla Gill, and Easton Kane, one great-grandchild; Lanee Ellis due in December, one sister; Naomi Price Givens, several nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.

Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Ebenezer Church Cemetery.
