George Eric Neighbors, age 58 of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Born on Monday, October 3, 1966 in Bowling Green, KY, to his loving parents, Columbus O. "Jimmy" and Joyce Phelps Neighbors. Eric is preceded in death by his grandson Joseph Eric "Lil Joe" Neighbors Jr., and his siblings Douglas, Gene, and Patricia Neighbors.

George Eric Neighbors is survived by his son Joey Neighbors (Mandie) of Crocker, MO; his grandchildren Brooklyn, Ireland, and Tucker Neighbors, all of Crocker, MO; his brothers Walton Neighbors (Kathy) of Morgantown, KY, and Galen Neighbors (Amanda) of Woodbury, KY; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Eric proudly served his country as a United States Army Veteran, and a member of the Woodbury Methodist Church. In his early years, Eric worked on the Riverboat as a deckhand and he also drove a truck for Ingram Trucking.
