Genevee Endsley Powell, 79 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Genevee was born July 28, 1935 in Drasco Arkansas to the late Fred and Bessie Griffin Endsley and wife of the late Early Powell. She was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and retired CNA from Morgantown Care & Rehab. Genevee is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sons Randy and Jimmy Wayne Powell, one brother Melvin Endsley and one sister Geneva Endsley.
Genevee Endsley Powell is survived by two sons Rickey Powell wife Scarlett of Smiths Grove, Ky. and John Powell wife Michelle of Morgantown, Ky.; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; one brother Gene Endsley of Arkansas and two sisters Ava Jefferson and Ellen Wilkerson both of Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Cool Springs General Baptist Church Friday, June 12, 2015 at 1:00pm with Bro. David Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in the Cool Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the  Jones Funeral Chapel and Friday 9:00 am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Cool Springs General Baptist Church.
