Gene H. Hawkins, age 80 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Gene was born Friday, March 28, 1941 in Butler County, KY to the late Lewis Humphrey and Golden Pearl Pendley Hawkins and husband of the late Alice Fay Shields Hawkins. All his life accomplishments were known by those who loved him. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by one brother Ray Hawkins. 

Gene H. Hawkins is survived by two daughters Sandy Ritchie (Don) and Amanda Smith (Tom); three sons Chris Hawkins (Marty), Robert Hawkins (Marcia) and Andrew Hawkins; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister Helen Huff and several nieces and nephews. 

A private funeral service will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 1:30pm. Private burial will be held in the Hill Heaven Memory Gardens. Public visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 11:30am - 1:30pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
