Gary Wayne Johnson 67 of Roundhill, KY passed away March 25th, 2023, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Gary was born April 15th, 1955, to the late Elbert and Artoe Basham Johnson. He married the late Cherryl Van Hargett on March 17th, 1973, and they had two sons together Kevin and Justin Johnson.

He was self-employed as a construction worker. Where he done interior trim among other things. Gary served in the United States Navy and so served his community for over 25 years as a volunteer firefighter for Bear Creak volunteer Fire Department. There he was a Captain and an assistant Chief. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and woodworking. He later met Cindy Wolfe and they were married in 2017.

In addition to his parents and his wife he preceded in death by his two sisters Linda Hines and Dixie Gaffeny and brother Larry Johnson.

Surviving family members include his wife Cindy Johnson and sons Kevin Johnson (Jennifer), Justin Johnson (Trisha)
