Gary Mitchell Dalton, 76 of Morgantown, Ky passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at his Residence. Gary was born Thursday, January 31, 1946 in Morgantown, Ky to the late Hayward Dalton and Wilma Miller McKinney. Gary was a retired mechanic and worked as a track manager at Beech Bend Raceway Park and Soggy Bottom Speedway. He loved going to car shows, enjoyed dancing and going to flea markets with his wife and ran a flea market in Morgantown for years. Other than his parents, Gary is preceded in death by one sister, Linda Whitehead.

Gary is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beverly Ann Dalton; one son, Gary Dalton (Sharon); one Daughter, Deborah Cherry (Terry); five Grandchildren Kevin Dalton, Jason Dalton, Emily Wright (Wesley), Nina Lindsey (Billy) and Leslie Cherry (Harberson);  two brothers  Johnny Dalton and Earl McKinney;  five sisters  Diane Coomer, Sharron Merrideth, Claudine Burden, Cindy Lyon and Denise Headley and several nieces and nephews.
