Gary Ray Cooper, 60, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, October 29th, 2015 at the Meadows Group Home in Mt Washington.

He was born on Thursday, May 5th, 1955 in Butler County, the son of the late Tildon “Till” and Faustine (Haynes) Cooper.

Gary is survived by his four brothers, JC Cooper (Martine) of Leitchfield, Lindell Cooper (Carolyn) of Louisville, Ricky Cooper (Sharon) and Jimmy Cooper (Kathy) both of Morgantown; two sisters, Christine Gary (David) of Louisville and LaVonne Barnett of Clarkson; a family friend of 35 years, Lynn Cash of Leitchfield and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 31st at 1:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Gary Embry will be officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery at Welch’s Creek.

Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Friday after 4:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until time of service.
