Frederick W. “Freddie” McKenney

Frederick W. “Freddie” McKenney , 58 of Philpot, Ky. passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Owensboro Medical Health System, in Owensboro, Ky. He was a Butler County native and son of the late William Calvin and Phyllis Fenoseff McKenney. Freddie was a member of Monticello Baptist Church, Cassia Lodge #272 and retired from Ken Surface Mines in Beaver Dam, Ky. Preceded in death by one sister Selena Faith and one niece Tara Faith.

Freddie loved life and enjoyed everyday talking and visiting with friends. He had many talents and achievements in his life and never met a stranger
Frederick W. “Freddie” McKenney is survived by Ms. Linda; son Clinton, 3 daughters Felecia, Lori and husband Matt and Angela and husband Jonathon; grandson Ryan; granddaughters Jade, Lindsey, Savannah, Chandler, Carleigh, Cailyn, Camryn and  Carsyn; 2 sisters Toni and Shawn; 1 niece and 1 nephew; special aunt Margaret; special friends and the Fuqua Family and a special thanks to Dr. Vora.
Friends may visit with the family Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 1:00pm – 7:00pm at Freddie’s home in Philpot, Ky. and a memorial service will be held Sunday Nov. 6, 2011 at 4:00pm at the Monticello Baptist Church in Provo, Ky. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Monticello Church Cemetery Fund, 6200 Provo Road, Rochester, Kentucky 42273. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
