Freddie Gene Parrish

Freddie Gene Parrish, 65 of Roundhill, Ky passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at his daughter's residence in Bowling Green, Ky. Freddie was born June 22, 1951, in Butler County Kentucky to the late James Herbert and Mary Lou Johnson Parrish. He was a member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church, retired from Southern States and a farmer. Freddie was the unofficial mayor of Roundhill, Ky, a proud Democrat, loved Chevrolets, had an outgoing personality and loved to joke. He was a gentle Giant.
Freddie Gene Parrish is survived by three daughters; Kristi Parrish (Tammy Thompson) of Bowling Green, Ky, Heather Morris (Cyle) of Roundhill, Ky and Laura West (Mike) of Morgantown, Ky. Three granddaughters; Madison Parrish, of Roundhill, Ky, Macy West, of Morgantown, Ky and Peach Mary-Morgan Morris, of Roundhill, Ky, one grandson, Steven Alexander Morris, of Roundhill, Ky, one sister, Karen Corbin (David) of Russellville, Ky, four brothers; Jim Phelps (Marge) of Charleston, IL, Ronnie Parrish (Barbara) of Morgantown, Ky, Ray Parrish (JoAnn) of Roundhill, Ky, Johnny Parrish (Alisa) of Roundhill, Ky, Former wife and mother of children, Bonnie Deweese Martin, his beloved dog Sam and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 26, 2016, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Saturday, August, 27,2016 from 8:00 AM until funeral time at 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
