Francis Graham Black

Francis Graham Black, 92 of Morgantown, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 at his home.  Graham was born December 28, 1921 in Lake Park, Georgia to the late James Benjamin and Nell Dennis Black.

Graham served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  Following his wartime service, he worked in the sheet metal trade.  Graham was a long-time Elder at the Dean Road Church of Christ in Jacksonville, Florida.

He is survived by three daughters, Fran Aeschliman, husband Elgin of Atlanta, GA, Nedra Worden, husband Lester of Marion, OH, and Lisa Womack, husband Bob of Morgantown; three  granddaughters Christine Forrester, husband Michael of Atlanta, GA, Mary Jackowski, husband Craig of Appleton, WI, and Jennifer Jewell, husband Jeff of Beaver Dam, KY; two grandsons Timothy Bishop of Appleton, WI, and Jeremy Womack of Morgantown; five great-grandchildren, Lydia Knoke, Will Forrester, Jasmine Knoke, Drake Knoke, and Karma Knoke.  In addition to his parents, Graham was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Alma, and four sisters and one brother.

Graveside services will be held at the Warren's Mill Cemetery on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Kelley Harris officiating.  Burial will be in the Warren's Mill Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at www.jonesfuneralchapel.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
