Faye Brown Watson, 78, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at her daughter's residence in Owensboro. Ms. Watson was born February 2, 1935 in Butler County  to the late Boyce and Kathleen Jones Brown.  She retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation where she worked as a toll booth attendant at the Bowling Green exit and a member of Providence Knob Baptist Church in Bowling Green.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Victor L. Watson; one step son Lee Watson and one brother in- law Doc Vinson.
Survivors include 5 children:  Debbie Wilkins of Owensboro; Richie James of Owensboro; Kathy James of Minneapolis, MN; Angela Ezell of Owensboro; James Watson and wife Debbie of Sacramento, CA; one step daughter Linda Griffin of Alabama; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; two brothers:  Glenn Brown and wife Bettye, Shurman Brown and wife Odell both of Bowling Green; two sisters:  Patty Vinson and Ann Geoghegan and husband Bob both of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, Monday, December 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Joe Causey officiating . Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, December 23, 2013 from 11 am - 2 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.
