Evelyn Francis Bolton Heltsley, 92 of Beaver Dam passed away Friday, January 15, 2016. She was born September 1, 1923 in Louisville to the late Dewey and Helen Burger Bolton.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, David Lamar Heltsley from Rockport, KY and her granddaughter, Michelle Renee’ Arbuckle.
Survivors include two daughters, Nonnie Lynn Campbell and Sarah Marie Martin both of Beaver Dam, one son, Matthew “Matt” Willis Heltsley of Beaver Dam, daughter-in-law, Patricia Stewart Heltsley, son-in-law, James N. Martin, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Evelyn and David lived their early married years in Rockport and Masonville, Kentucky. They moved to Prentiss/Little Bend area in 1978 and founded Heltsley’s Orchard providing peaches and apples until 1996. Evelyn was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and the Prentiss Homemakers. She will continue to live in our hearts as beloved mother, grandmother and great-Nana.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Greg Hillard officiating.
