Eva Eyelean Phelps, 90 of Roundhill, KY passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Eyelean was born March 9, 1929 in Edmonson County, KY to the late Robert "Pat" Dalton and Shellie Dalton Seabolt and wife of the late Kenneth T. Phelps. She was a retired teacher from the Butler County Board of Education after 36 years, started her career teaching at age 16 in a one room school house. She was a member of Temple View General Baptist Church and active member of Rebekah Lodge. Eyelean enjoyed working in her flowers, gardening, farming and all her little animals. She loved spending time with her family & grandchildren, going on trips and out to eat with family and friends.

Eva Eyelean Phelps is survived by three sons William R. "Bobby" Phelps (Lareca) of Bowling Green, KY, Kenneth T. "Kenny" Phelps of Bowling Green, KY and John R."Johnny" Phelps Roundhill, KY; five grandchildren Tyler Phelps of Bowling Green, KY, Shanna Dunn (Nick) of Edmonson Co. KY, Callie Phelps of Bowling Green, KY, Davy Phelps (Jennie) of Glasgow, KY and Huey Robert "Lil Bobby" Phelps (Valeria) of Houston, TX and five great grandchildren Preston and Carly Dunn of Edmonson Co. KY and Diego, Dylan and Leila Phelps all of Houston, Texas

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, May 27, 2019 at 1:00pm with Bro. Mike Dunn officiating. Private burial will be held in the Threlkel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday May 26, 2019 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Monday 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
