Ernest Rhea Higgs age 77 of Franklin Ky., passed away Tuesday evening November 26, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at his residence. Ernest was born July 29, 1942 in Brownsville Ky., to the union of the late Virgil Lee "Buck" and Martha Ellen Johnson Higgs. Ernest was a retired mechanic from Jim Johnson Nissan Hyundai in Bowling Green Ky., after many years of service, He had a passion for mechanic work, loved playing music, drinking a black cup of coffee, relaxing, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents Ernest was preceded in death by his wife Judy Lue Oller Higgs since February 15, 2019, a daughter Sandra Kaye Bagshaw, 2 siblings Nola Mae Higgs and William "Bill" Higgs.

Ernest Rhea Higgs is survived by 4 children Terry Rhea Higgs and wife Lyndia of Franklin Ky.,Candida Higgs of Bowling Green Ky., Kimberly Michelle Rayner and husband Michael of Plano Ky. and Jessie Lee Higgs and wife Talesha of Scottsville Ky.; 27 Grandchildren and 36 Great Grandchildren; 2 sisters Jeanette Elmore and husband Ray of New Smyrna Beach Florida and Vicki Smith and husband George of Alvaton Ky.

All services scheduled are private and are under the direction of The Jones Funeral Chapel in Morgantown Ky.
