Eria Lannell Hunt

Eria Lanell Hunt, 83 of Boonville, Indiana, died Monday, November 14, 2011, at Woodmont Health Campus in Boonville.  A Butler County native, Hunt was a homemaker who loved gardening and baking. She was an active member of Warrick Homemakers Sunshine Club. She had many blue ribbons from her entries in the 4-H Fair for Baking, Canning, Crochet and Quilting & Gardening. Nell was a Kentucky Colonel. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, David Charles Hunt; her parents; two sisters; one brother; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 17, at the Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel in Boonville, Indiana, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown. Burial will be at Hill Haven Memory Garden Cemetery.

Eria Lanell Hunt is survived by two sons, David A Hunt Sr. (Debbie) and Keith Scott Hunt of Boonville; two grandchildren, Jennifer Hunt Marshall (Brett) and David A Hunt Jr. (Renee); two stepgrandchildren, Bobbie Midkiff and Lacey Brown; four great-grandchildren, Brenden, Dayton, William and Baylee; 10 stepgreat-grandchildren; and one brother, Curtis Brown of Russellville.

Memorial contributions in memory of Nell may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
