Emma Nancy Taylor Cardwell, 93, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Nov. 26, 1925 to the late Rob and Nellie Moore Taylor.  Nancy was a member of Aberdeen Baptist Church.  She was a Homemaker and worked at Kellwood and Lakeview Nursing Home for several years.  She enjoyed fishing, working puzzles and sewing.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Edward Cardwell; three sons Barry, Randy and Garry Cardwell; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; four brothers Rex, Bobby, Calvin and J.R. Taylor and one sister Mary Ruth Griffith.

Nancy is survived by her daughters Nellie Webb (Danny) of Morgantown, Ann Brady (Tony) of Louisville, Ky., Judy Givens of Sellersburg, In., Gail Mayes (Tony) of Columbus, OH.; son Tony Cardwell of Russellville, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; several great great and great great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 2-8pm and Thursday from 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
