Ellen R. Larsen, age 85, of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 at the Hospice of Southern KY Hospice Center in Bowling Green, KY. Ellen was born Tuesday, January 18, 1938 in Ogden, UT to the union of the late Lloyd Elvon and Ida Ellen Simmons Richan. Ellen was a member of the Morgantown Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints where she served as director of the Family History Center. She was a retired office manager and homemaker. Ellen enjoyed knitting, playing piano and organ, making quilts for the Hospice Center and assisted many with family history. Other than her parents, Ellen is preceded in death by her husband, David Aurthur Larsen, two brothers; Max and Bill Richan, one sister, Virginia Palmer and one son-in-law, Bill Douglas.

Ellen is survived by two sons; David Christopher Larsen (Karen) of Morgantown, KY and Anthony Aurthur Larsen (Arna) of Roosevelt UT, two daughters; Vickie Lin Pape (Steve) of Morgantown, KY and Kathy Sue Douglas of Morgantown, KY, 25 grandchildren and 61 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Chris Larsen officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the Jones Funeral Chapel from 10:00 AM until funeral time at 2:00 PM.
