Elizabeth Ward

Elizabeth Ward, 92, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016, at the Medical Center Hospital, Bowling Green, Ky. She was born in Butler County on April 20, 1924, to the late Clarence and Glennie Martin Webster. Elizabeth was a member of Morgantown United Methodist Church and retired from GE.  She loved quilting, canning, making homemade bread, playing rook, dancing and loved her dog, Max. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands James Ward and Robert Lamastus; one daughter Edra Dean Hampton; one son Wilbur D. Ward and grandson Christopher D. Ward.   
She is survived by two grandsons Greg Hampton (Renee) of Morgantown, Kevin Hampton (Julie) of Morgantown; four great-grandson Josh Hampton (Jennifer) of Morgantown, Jacob Hampton, of Morgantown, Landon Hampton (Andrea) of Bowling Green, Cody Dale Ward of Morgantown; one great-granddaughter Leah Chandler (Cody) of Scottsville, Ky.; three great-great grandchildren Noah James Chandler, Paisyn Chandler, Laney Bell Hampton; Son-in-law Bobby Hampton.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown on Sunday, September 4th at 2 pm with Bro. Halqua Wilson officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Hill Haven Memory Garden Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Saturday, September 3rd from 2-8pm and Sunday 8 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home. Morgantown, Ky.
