Elizabeth Ione Maynard, age 89 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY. Elizabeth was born on Saturday, July 14, 1934 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late Even and Elsie Lamastus Basham and wife of the Herbert Leroy Maynard. She worked at Kellwood in Morgantown for over 25 years and she was a Christian. Elizabeth loved cooking, sewing and playing bingo. Other than he parents and husband she is preceded in death by one granddaughter Cindy Maynard; two brothers Guynn and Deacon Earl Basham and two sisters Charlotte Hendrick and Exie Miller.

Elizabeth Ione Maynard is survived by one daughter Anna Belle Roberts of Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister Loretta Elliott (Terry) of Russellville, KY; one brother O.J. Basham (Sue) of Morgantown, KY; 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, September 25, 2023 from 12:00pm - 1:45pm. Graveside services and burial will be held at the Cool Springs Cemetery on Monday at 2:00pm.
